Accessibility statement
Willoughby Place is committed to making our website accessible to as many people as possible, in line with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 and our duties under the Equality Act 2010.
Our commitment
This website is designed and maintained to conform, as far as reasonably possible, with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at AA level. We treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility, not a one-off exercise, and we review content and design regularly.
What we do
- Use semantic HTML, landmark regions and a single main content area on every page.
- Provide descriptive alternative text for meaningful images.
- Design for keyboard navigation, including a "skip to main content" link.
- Use colour combinations chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios.
- Support text resizing up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- Label form fields and provide clear, accessible error messages.
- Design responsively so the site works on mobile, tablet and desktop.
